Our team provides a full range of services including general brokerage, property management, asset management, and development services. We operate exclusively in Texas' major markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.Weitzman is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Broker with expertise in the Dallas-Fort Worth retail market. This real estate veteran will perform all retail leasing activities while identifying and developing a strong network of tenant, broker, and owner relationships.Responsibilities:Source new tenants and establish relationships within the industryNegotiate, analyze, and close lease transactions within a portfolioPerform market surveys and cold callsDevelop and distribute marketing packages and materials to potential tenantsMaintain a thorough understanding of demographics, traffic patterns, and market trendsRemain knowledgeable and up-to-date on competitor data and rental ratesProvide leadership to junior team membersPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Texas Real Estate License requiredBachelor's Degree (Business or Real Estate preferred)Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in retail leasing with a strong deal sheetExperience canvassing and cold callingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExisting industry relationshipsStrong relationship building, negotiation, mathematics, time management, and organizational skillsExhibit assertiveness, persistence, ambition, good judgment, confidentiality, and attention to detailAbility to focus on many tasks and requests with competing deadlinesProven success in working independently in a high-pressure environmentDependable and punctual
