Hourly Rate: $19.00/hr - $20.00/hr Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) Job Summary: Responsible for transporting clients to and from clinic appointments and outings in a timely manner. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Safety and efficiently operate a passenger van. Responsible for the timely pickups, drop offs and appointments/errands, of transporting clients. Keep interior of vehicle neat and orderly. Ensures vehicle is adequately maintained and fueled and monitors vehicle condition. Maintains courteous, friendly and professional demeanor. Assists passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle if needed. Provide a safe and comfortable environment for study participants. Must maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education/Experience/Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Must be at least 25 years old. A high school diploma or GED is required. 1 to 2 years related work experience. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Working Conditions Indoor, Clinic environment. Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, walking. Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
