Position Title: Technical Product Owner

Salary: $120k-140k/yr

Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site)


Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, product management experience, and a passion for driving product development in an Agile environment. This role requires a proactive individual who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related decisions. Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies (Scrum, KanBan) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, development teams, and customers to ensure a clear understanding of product vision and requirements.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide direction to technology teams, prioritize development activities, and drive new product development investments using Agile methodologies.
  • SDLC Management: Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle, ensuring best practices are followed from fulfillment through to delivery.
  • MuleSoft Integration: Utilize MuleSoft integration experience to enhance the connectivity and functionality of our products.
  • Analytical Skills: Apply strong analytical skills to understand complex web development issues and provide innovative solutions.
  • Web Development: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in web development, ensuring products are built with modern technologies and frameworks.


Qualifications:

  • Education: A BS/BA in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relative experience.


  • Experience:
  • At least five years of experience in Program Management, Product Management, and Agile Frameworks (Scrum, KanBan).
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner on a SaaS or Ecommerce platform.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like MUI, Headless UI, and shared CSS libraries.
  • Experience with SDLC, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
  • Experience implementing APIs, server-side scripting, and database integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of web accessibility best practices.


  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with ANY of the following: MuleSoft integration, API experience, iPassword, or Boomi experience as well as a knowledge level experience in Java
  • Understanding of UI/UX design practices.
  • Knowledge of web development issues and complex problem-solving.


  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to set direction for technology teams and prioritize effectively.


  • Preferred Background: Candidates with PM (Product Management) experience who are more technical, but not with a full engineering background.
