We proactively solve problems, adapt and grow to continuously serve our customers, communities and each other.Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative.Starting at $20/hr or more based on experience. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm plus overtime as needed.The perks of working for Ferguson include:Competitive compensationHourly bonus potentialBenefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness programs, etc.)401(K) retirement savings plan with company matchPaid time off (vacation, sick, personal, holiday, and parental leave)Employee assistance programsAssociate discountsCommunity involvement opportunitiesOpportunities for growth and advancement both professionally and financiallyResponsibilities include:Providing advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needsProcessing orders via order management systemOperating cash registers and following established cash handling proceduresPreparing and staging orders for customer pick upMaintaining store appearance and merchandising standards as advisedEnsuring that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areasMaintaining a safe working environment including PPE (personal protective equipment)Qualifications include:0-3 years of experience preferredBasic knowledge of products is preferredGeneral digital literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications requiredAbility to lift, load, and deliver merchandiseGeneral math skills to allow for cash accountingAn ability to learn is a must haveExcellent decision making and communication skills*Pre-employment drug and background screening required*Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
