Allele Communications is based in Lauderdale-by-the Sea, Florida. We are seeking a Communications Associate to join our talented and growing team in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea


We are looking for a Communications Associate who has a dynamic skill set, strong work ethic and initiative, robust interpersonal skills, and creative vision. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar fields, with a desire to learn about the life science (biotechnology) industry and apply their skill sets. The ideal candidate would also have a minimum 1-2 years of working experience developing, implementing, and measuring email and social media plans and strategies, as well as experience with various digital platforms and programs.


In collaboration with the entire team, the Communication Associate will play an integral role in the development and execution of integrated plans comprised of social media and marketing communications strategies that support our client’s unique objectives. Through strategic thinking and execution, the goal is to increase awareness, engagement, and visibility of our clients and their developmental programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the group with conceptualizing and executing email campaigns, social media campaigns, virtual events, and other videos produced for each client
  • Assist in the video editing process with Capcut or similar software
  • Assist the Communications team with drafting talking points, scripts, and social copy
  • Collaborate with the Director of Social Media team to create digital graphics and animations for digital channels including social media and emails
  • Ensure brand guidelines for each client are followed, ensuring consistency across platforms
  • Support in the management of social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments/messages
  • Design email campaigns for clients leveraging all the tools in Constant Contact and seek client approval (includes support on drafting content, designing templates, and analyzing campaign performance)
  • Ensure all “opt-in” leads gathered from social media ads are added to the client's email distribution list
  • Research, monitor, and collect ideas from comparable companies, industry trends, relevant patient and investor groups, etc.
  • Assist in the overall campaigns for each client, which may comprise of sending LinkedIn DMs, managing advertisements on social media, and reporting analytics internally and externally
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing client’s digital marketing metrics, including social media engagement, followers, email open rates, email engagement, growth of email list, virtual event attendees, and other relevant metrics
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the internal team and to external clients based on market analysis to enhance current or future campaign performance


Key Skills and Software

·        MS Office Suite (O365)

·        Detailed knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, Google ads, and other relevant platforms

·        Canva, Constant Contact (or similar), Cap Cut (or similar)

·        Excellent writing, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills

·        Attention to detail with the ability to manage/prioritze multiple projects and deadline

·        Creative, innovative, and ability to problem-solve

·        Passion for life sciences or desire to learn more
