The program reaches nearly 500 radio stations nationwide and attracts five million listeners each week. It airs live Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET, with updates and rollovers from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET.Here & Now is looking for a creative and innovative producer to be part of the highly dynamic team producing this daily program. As a producer, you will conceive, pitch, research and execute story ideas across all platforms working closely with the programs hosts and editors.The producer will be skilled in editing audio and able to provide editorial support for the hosts, as well as work with audio engineers to ensure all systems are working optimally in the studio.As part of the team, you will attend daily editorial news meetings and monitor news sources across the country, remaining current with stories in the news while developing new angles to provide clarity and context for our audience.
