Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all product is appropriately sampled for analytical testing
  • Operation, maintenance and care of GC, LCMS, HPLC equipment
  • Maintain sampling schedule that supports production and farming targets
  • Maintain organized data collection, generate reports, and presentation of data
  • Work with cross functional teams to upkeep sampling and testing schedule
  • Approach tasks with attention to detail and organization
  • Work by example in maintaining a tidy and complete workspace and task track
  • Maintain organization of tools and supplies in all areas
  • Adhere internal and external regulatory standards
  • Filling out lab templates and reports
  • Data entry into Excel
  • Handling chemicals
  • Preparing samples for testing
  • Operating syringes, pipettors, and working in clean environments
  • Keeping track of products, samples, test results, and chemical inventory
  • Proper disposal and handling of chemicals, including proper PPE

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in an analytical lab (professional or academic) required
  • 3-5 years experience working with GC, HPLC & LCMS equipment - required
  • Proven ability to communicate with vendors and coordinate business needs
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Degree in Chemistry or related discipline or equal professional experience
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds

Job Type:

  • Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
