In this role, you will:Participate in analyzing companies, developing strategies for clients, pulling market and industry research, and assisting senior bankers on the execution of Left Lead transactions in the institutional loan and high yield capital marketsReview strategies for clients, analyze market data, and manage the day-to-day operations of the Leveraged Debt Capital Markets teamMaintain a database of institutional loan and high yield transactionsReceive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment, while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported areaCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal and external clientsRequired Qualifications6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired QualificationsDemonstrated interest in the financial marketsStrong credit analysis skillsWell-developed analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively in a team environment and independentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsBachelor's degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate financeExperience in investment bankingProfessional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activitiesDedication to building a career in investment bankingJob ExpectationsWillingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirementsAbility to work additional hours as neededRegistration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hireRegistration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hireRegistration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hireRegistration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hireThis position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements.
