The venue supports and promotes inquiry, the open exchange of ideas, and the power of academic, interdisciplinary convening. The Forum is located at the intersection of East 60th Street and Woodlawn Avenue. It serves as a place where scholars gather and exchange ideas through activities that range from talks and workshops to multi-day conferences that span academic disciplines. The facility provides spaces and amenities that are not currently available on campus, including highly collaborative, well-appointed meeting and event rooms commensurate with the types of conferences, special events, workshops, and meetings that University faculty and academic departments host. The building has a sustainable design target of LEED Gold.Job Summary:Basic Function: The Staff Accountant will maintain accounting standards within established policies and procedures.Qualifications: Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work ExperienceFour years' experience in a hotel environmentExceptional organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with Maestro PMSEssential Functions:Accounts Receivable (A/R):Prepare A/R Invoices for Internal and External ClientsPrepare and send monthly Member A/R invoicesProcess payments for A/RCollection of all A/R balancesResearch and respond to all A/R inquiriesAccounts Payable (A/P):Maintain and control vendor set up and supporting documentationValidate and Process A/P Invoices for paymentReview vendor statements at month endPrepare monthly accruals for all outstanding A/P invoicesPrepare and send monthly Member Accounts Receivable invoicesReconcile Craftable to A/PReconcile Cash and prepare deposits Maintain and support internal controlsMarginal Functions:Respond to any reasonable task assigned by the Director of Finance, Accounting Manager and/or General ManagerCompensation:$50000 - $60000Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
