You'll solve challenges, deliver solutions and develop new, efficient processes that make a direct impact on our customers' lives.What you'll do: The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for the proper and timely posting of cash receipts and denials to customer accounts. He/she will also work with and act as a back-up to the other Cash Posters. As a Cash Application Specialist, you will be responsible for:Pulling remittances from various websites and scanning prior to postingAccurately posting insurance and personal payments (including check, ACH/EFT, and credit card payments) to customer accounts for both funded and non-funded business.Working and obtaining information from the lockboxesBalancing all batches and depositsVerifying and adjusting any non-allowable chargesPosting denials from insurance companiesResearching offsetsResearching unapplied insurance transactions and processing refundsActing as a back-up for the other Cash PostersPerforming various other tasks as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma2 years previous cash posting experience preferredWhat you'll bring:Proficient writing and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate at all levels within an organizationInterpersonal and teaming skillsMS Office Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience working with ERP and accounting reporting systems preferred (specifically AdvancedMD, Great Plains, and/or Zuora preferred)Strong organizational skillsTime management skillsDetailed orientedMust be able to take good notes and be able to work from those notes when acting as a back-upAble to multitask and work in multiple systems (this person will need to log into multiple bank websites and work in multiple ERP systems)Solid mathematical skillsAble to be flexible and adapt to changeAbility to work with interruptions in a fast-paced environmentApply today We believe in empowering individuals - including our own employees - to reach their full potential.
