We provide an environment where associates gain experience, train and mentor with the best, and build a successful careerAs an Associate Manager, Fire Protection you will be responsible for leadership and technical excellence within the Fire Protection team. You will support, direct, and oversee other engineering associates while ensuring the successful completion of projects, maintaining high quality standards, meeting project deadlines, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes, and promoting seamless collaboration with other stakeholders within an integrated team of architects, designers, and engineers.Our Fire Protection team is one of five in-house engineering disciplines within WD. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with architects, designers and other engineers from mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering backgrounds.Location: We are open to hiring for remote work from any location in the US.Preferred Experience:Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field and/or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferredExperience managing teams that are designing fire protection systems and knowledge of relevant codesProficiency is Revit and AutoCAD is requiredExperience working on restaurant, grocery, retail, healthcare or similar projects is helpfulWhat matters to our associates matters to us.
