Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated AI Cyber Security Engineer to join their innovative team. As an AI Cyber Security Engineer, you will be part of the Offensive Security Research department supporting cybersecurity testing and AI technology assessments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: AI Cyber Security Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $55 - $58/hr (Only W2)What's the Job? Perform cybersecurity testing against AI technologies from a red team perspective to identify vulnerabilities. Test new AI offerings and AI integrations within existing applications to analyze security risks and impacts. Collaborate with technology leaders and solution owners to promote responsible deployment of AI solutions. Design, test, and implement advanced AI security measures across networks, infrastructure, and applications. Conduct AI red team testing to develop proof-of-concept exploits, simulate threat techniques, and assess vulnerabilities. What's Needed? Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including LLMs, MCP, Copilot, Gemini, and Agentic Solutions. At least 2 years of AI Cyber Security Research experience. Minimum of 2 years creating proof of concepts, exploits, or reverse engineering demonstrated through work or military experience. Experience presenting complex technical topics to diverse stakeholder groups for 3 or more years. Proficiency in writing detailed technical reports explaining attack chains and cybersecurity vulnerabilities. What's in it for me?
