Job Title: Senior Portfolio Manager - Affordable HousingLocation: Portland, OR (with travel to properties in the Portland area as needed)Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct HireSchedule: Monday-FridaySalary: $90,000 - $110,000 annually, DOEOverview:LHH Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Senior Portfolio Manager with deep expertise in affordable housing to oversee a portfolio of properties in the Portland area. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is passionate about providing quality housing solutions to underserved communities.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of property managers and support staff across multiple affordable housing sitesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations, including LIHTC and HUD guidelinesOversee budgeting, financial performance, and operational efficiency of the portfolioDevelop and implement strategic plans to improve property performance and resident satisfactionConduct regular site visits to assess property conditions and support on-site teamsCollaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and complianceMentor and develop team members to foster a high-performance cultureQualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager or similar in the affordable housing sectorProven track record of managing and leading teams effectivelyStrong knowledge of affordable housing programs and compliance requirementsLIHTC, HUD, Section 8 program knowledgeExperience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage)Strong financial acumen and reporting capabilitiesExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to travel locally to properties as neededBenefits:Competitive salary based on experience90% company paid medical and dental premiums plus optional vision coverage401K with up to 40% company match of your contribution Paid time off, holidays, and shorter schedules during the summer Professional development opportunitiesCompany that is well known for being collaborative and a great place to workBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
