Data Steward

Position: DBS Data Steward Location: HQ, Franklin, TN
- On-site 5 days/week for training, then 2-3 days/week
- Training hours: 8:30am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and currency of DBS data
- Maintain data quality rules for inbound and outbound data
- Liaise with DBS data providers to address issues
- Monitor data quality reports and develop resolution plans
- Assist in data quality metrics and KPIs tracking
- Support stakeholders with data quality inquiries
- Collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance team for compliance
- Assist in compliance process for DBS data access
- Implement data curation practices and retention policies
- Support data merge process within MDM tool
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years supporting data quality and management projects
- Familiarity with data management principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, Informatica tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to occasionally travel domestically
Additional Notes:
- Daily tasks include reviewing data quality reports, identifying anomalies, and initiating resolutions
- Proficiency in SQL coding required for data investigation and issue resolution
- Track issues through Salesforce and project management tools, ensuring timely resolution
- Workflow involves identifying and resolving data issues from start to closure
