Ticket SellerBrooklyn Bowl Nashville is looking for a Ticket Seller to work in their box office. The Ticket Seller is responsible for assisting guests with their show ticket needs. This position is a resource for all guest questions with an energetic, upbeat and positive attitude. Generate revenue by selling and issuing show tickets directly to guests at the Box Office. Responsible for collecting funds/documentation for tickets. Assist all customer/guests to select and purchase merchandise.The starting hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour.Responsibilities:Process and verify credit card and cash transactionsMaintain constant surveillance of cash drawer to ensure accuracyMaintain superior customer service both in person and over the phonesAnswer phone promptly and with a phoneGuest relationsWill call windowEnsure appropriate placement of all merchandise to promote salesAssist all customer/guests to select and purchase merchandiseProcess opening and closing paperworkKnowledge of talent and entertainmentAssist with miscellaneous box office projects as directedRequired:Positive, friendly attitudeKeep a clean, well-groomed appearanceMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysExcellent skills in customer service, phone etiquette, cash handling, filing, multi-task environment, attention to detailAbility to communicate, work well with others, work in a high-volume, and sometimes stressful environmentWorking knowledge of phone handling, cashiering, customer servicePreferred:Experience in a live music environmentExperience working in a high-volume restaurant, bar or entertainment venue preferredEntry level knowledge of basic computer operation and point of sales systemsAbility to type 30 wpmHigh School Diploma or GEDPrevious Ticketing experiencePhysical Demands/Working Environment:Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetOur Benefits:Competitive compensationProfessional career developmentAdditional benefitsApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
