ARM GROUP is looking to hire a Electrical Engineer for one of its clients based out of Aurora , IL


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to the required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution, control systems, and related components.
  • Conduct detailed electrical design analysis and calculations.
  • Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on [specific area, e.g., power systems, electronics, control systems].
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP) and simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Project management experience is a plus.


Work Environment:


  • Primarily office-based with occasional visits to project sites.
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
