Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school team. This role involves providing occupational therapy services, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' functional and educational needs.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting educational goals for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an OT.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
