As a Certified Medical Assistant in our OB/GYN Center, you'll provide exceptional support to patients and families, guiding them with reassurance and clear direction. Our center offers comprehensive OB/GYN services to women of all ages across the borough. From managing uterine fibroids to navigating fertility, our board-certified physicians and expert care teams are dedicated to women's health at every stage of life.Location: NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens 56-45 Main Street, Flushing NY 11355Schedule: MondayFriday, with occasional Saturdays. Start times vary between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. depending on departmental needs.In this dual role, you'll combine administrative excellence with clinical expertise:Greet patients and families with professionalism and empathyManage check-in/check-out, scheduling, and insurance verificationCoordinate patient flow and maintain accurate records in EMR systemsAssist with vital signs, specimen collection, EKGs, and point-of-care testingSupport physicians during exams and ensure infection control compliancePreferred Criteria:OB/GYN experienceSkilled in patient screenings and chaperoningProficient in specimen processing, EKG, point-of-care testing, and vital signs intakeKnowledge of infection control and HIPAA complianceFamiliarity with EMR systems (EPIC)Bilingual in English/SpanishRequired Criteria:High School DiplomaGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant programCertification as a Medical AssistantMinimum 1 year of experienceProficient in phlebotomyMust own stethoscopeReady to make every patient feel cared for from the front desk to the exam room?
