Heat and Control, one of the world's leading manufacturers of food processing, seasoning, conveying, packaging and inspection equipment systems, is seeking a Buyer to oversee, coordinate, and control all requisitions, procurement of goods and services, and purchase orders in our Pembroke, NH location.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    

  • Must work 5 days a week onsite in the Pembroke, New Hampshire office. (No Remote work).
  • Procure goods and services, such as raw materials, parts, and supplies.
  • Review requisitions.
  • Prepare purchase orders. Maintain procurement records, such as costs, delivery.
  • Determine source of trouble and take corrective action on defective goods. Arrange for returns to prevent overstocking inventory.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions.
  • At least three years' experience as a Buyer.
  • Extract parts information from blueprints to process parts orders.
  • Calculate discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • The employee must lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
  • Must work 5 days a week onsite in the Pembroke, New Hampshire office. No Remote work.
