Ecommerce Specialist

SUMMARY

The Ecommerce Specialist (PIM / Salsify) oversees the ingestion, organization, enhancement, and delivery of product information, whether being delivered to a retailer via an API, FTP, or downloaded. You will be the point person regarding Salsify at Kids II to support the company via one-off support questions, on-going training sessions, creation of training materials, and on-boarding new users. Create or aid in the creation of digital catalogs and other Sales tools. Stay up to date with the latest advances in the technology and adding on new capabilities. Partner with IT, Business Unit, Marketing, Imaging, Supply Chain, Design, Product Integrity, and Legal to continuously improve the function of Salsify.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serve as primary specialist of the Product Information Management (PIM) system to include but not limited to training on Salsify operations and initial point of escalation to Salsify support.

Provide enterprise high-level on-boarding and training with monthly cadence

Act as subject matter expert and advocate of PIM in cross-functional meetings and for organization

Partner with IT, Business Unit, Marketing, Imaging, Supply Chain, Design, Product Integrity, and Legal, PMO globally to continuously improve the function of Salsify.

Align with the product life cycle to identify and compile product information required for product launch and content refreshes

Automating the flow of product content into PIM

Manage content mapping to external/channel specifications & publishing requirements

Setup & integration of channels to ensure adequate communication

Support Digital Merchandiser in maintaining appropriate data flow

(For example, if there are system issues for the Sales team, trouble shoot for solution and resolution)

Stay informed with the latest advances in PIM technologies to leverage the transfer of data and content, as well as propose new capabilities to management for implementation

Own the relationship with PIM provider to maintain contract dates, terms, etc.

Execute/Implement workflows per specifications including creating and modifying tasks and associated accountabilities

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1+ years of ecommerce or data management and delivery experience

Experience with product databases and/or Product Information Management platforms

Experience with web content management and syndication systems

EDUCATION & SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, ecommerce, or equivalent work experience

Strong communication and organizational skills, detail-oriented, proactive, works well independently and with multiple teams, manage multiple projects, and data management skills

Must be well-versed in Excel and writing functions, formulas, and syntax to automate data values and map Excel templates

Ability to solve business problems with technology solutions

Strong executive presence and financial acumen

Excellent written, verbal and data communication skills

Communicates feedback, solutions, and challenges effectively with cross-functional teams

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS

Must be proficient in Salsify, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and programs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In office 3-4 days per week.
