The Security Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of all colleagues, guests, and hotel property. As a Security Officer, you will respond to emergencies, conduct routine patrols, complete incident reports, and support guest and colleague welfare while maintaining a calm and professional presence. This role requires attention to detail, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety and service excellence.Minimum/Preferred Requirements:A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience in a security or safety role preferred.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.Must be able to walk, stand, and/or patrol for extended periods.Must have physical ability to perform security duties, including lifting and responding to emergencies.Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.CPR, First Aid, or AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).Valid drivers license may be required depending on specific responsibilities.Job Responsibilities/Duties:Patrol all areas of the hotel, including guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.Respond to emergency situations promptly and appropriately (medical, fire, theft, disturbances, etc.).Monitor security cameras and access control systems.Document and report incidents using proper procedures and hotel systems.Enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed.Provide excellent customer service while assisting guests and colleagues with safety concerns.Support lost and found procedures and coordinate return of guest property.Assist with crowd control and safety during special events or high-occupancy periods.Participate in safety drills and ongoing training.Benefits:Complimentary and discounted hotel night stays worldwideFree colleague meals during shiftsPaid time off and holiday payAffordable medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement savings plan with company matchProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesAccess to wellness programs
