Key job responsibilities include driving operational excellence initiatives to define roadmap plans, developing and managing implementation activities. Develop documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support. Establish channels for continuous feedback and improvement across the organization. Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners, key stakeholders, and team members. Ensuring Plan B's are always in place. Actively seeking out opportunities to optimize processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve overall performance across the organization. Design processes and procedures that scale with the business' growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion. Applying tools and techniques from Lean and Six Sigma to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and reduce variation. Utilizing data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and measure the impact of improvement initiatives. Leading and supporting change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices. Working with teams across different departments to identify and implement improvements, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.Basic Qualifications include 5+ years of business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role experience. Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred). Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel. Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent). Six Sigma Green Belt, or 1+ years of team management, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/customer relations experience.Preferred Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field. Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab. Track record of implementing digital transformation initiatives in procurement using emerging technologies such as AI-powered procurement tools, or blockchain applications. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $203,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
