We’re looking for a full-time, onsite Application Security Engineer based in Tukwila, WA. (Greater Seattle, WA area)

Please note that applicants must currently reside in the U.S., and no sponsorship or C2C is available.

Preference will be given to those within commuting distance.


What You’ll Do:

– Perform risk assessments on devices and applications.

– Review code to identify and mitigate common security vulnerabilities.

– Collaborate with fellow security engineers to test and review various security applications.

– Develop tools that enhance automation for penetration testing.

– Analyze system services and applications for security gaps.

– Design more secure applications by developing threat models and creating security testing scenarios.

– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and research in application security.


What You’ll Need:

– At least 4 years of experience in Application Security Engineering.

– A solid background in pen testing, SQL injection, and identifying application vulnerabilities.

– Familiarity with multiple programming languages.

– Experience working in Agile environments, including sprints.

– Proficiency in using security tools like SonarQube and Datadog to scan for potential risks.

– The ability to read and interpret code (code writing skills are not required).


Bonus Skills:

– Experience with Teams, Slack, or Kanban boards.
