We are partnering with a premier luxury resort located in Scottsdale, Arizona, renowned for its exceptional guest experience and luxurious amenities. We are seeking an experienced Complex Director of Finance to lead financial operations across multiple properties, ensuring the highest standards of financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership.


Position Summary:

The Complex Director of Finance will oversee all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting for multiple properties. This role will work closely with property leadership to support operational and strategic goals, drive profitability, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Direct and manage all financial planning, analysis, and reporting for multiple resort properties.
  • Develop and oversee complex budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies, supporting the long-term vision and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies for profitability and growth.

Accounting & Compliance

  • Supervise accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and income audits, to maintain accurate and timely financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to monitor internal controls and safeguard assets.

Team Management & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing ongoing training and development to promote growth and accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Establish performance metrics and goals to ensure excellence in financial operations across all properties.

Operational Support

  • Work closely with department heads to optimize resource allocation, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve property performance, increase revenues, and control expenses.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits, investor relations, and corporate reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management within the hospitality industry, with multi-property or complex experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP compliance.
  • Proven leadership experience in building and managing high-performing finance teams.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills with the ability to influence strategic decision-making.
