Valet Laundry AttendantFour Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a Valet Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic Laundry Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. The Valet Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, processing, and finishing guest clothing and employee uniforms.What you will do:Travels to Guest Room to pick up the clothing that needs service. Ascertains time completed goods are required. Counts the items and gives guest a completed receipt. Marks guest clothing for identificationSorts guest items for appropriate action (Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and then processes the clothing on the correct equipment, using the appropriate temperature and chemicals. Once processed, folds or hangs the clothing as desired. Delivers clothing to guest at time desiredSorts employee uniforms for appropriate action (Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) either to process them on site or to send them to be processed by our third party in the case of the rental program. Then, processes the clothing. Once processed, hangs and transports clean uniforms to the conveyorOperates and maintains washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, presser and iron. Reports any problems or deficiencies to managerAssists the Housekeeping Management team in processing regular uniforms, room and F&B linen inventoriesAssists the Housekeeping Management team in maintaining proper Ensures all chemicals and operating supplies such as iron hangers, laundry, and sewing supplies are well stockedWorks harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors Carries out any other related duties as specified by your supervisorAbout you:Knowledge of various laundry machines preferred but not requiredOne to two years' experience working in laundry or housekeeping preferredStrong communication skillsWork authorization in the United StatesOur benefits:Comprehensive Compensation Package including Medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as 401k participation with a company matching programDiscounted Accommodations at Four Seasons hotels and resorts WorldwideHoliday and Vacation payComplimentary employee meals prepared by the Four Seasons Culinary TeamComplimentary dry cleaning of employee uniformsDiscounted parkingFour Seasons is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
