Responsible for making sure our facilities are clean and meet brand standards, Housekeepers are detail-oriented masters of Hospitality.Job SpecificationsStarting Wage: $23.00/hr - $26.53/hr. Employment Type: Year Round. Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available. Housing Availability: No.Job ResponsibilitiesOrganize and assign room assignments for daily cleaning service to guest rooms as well as common areas and commercial spaces. Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system. Submit work orders, as needed. Ensure excellent internal and external guest experience. Emphasize safety culture among staff and keep them informed of safety policies and procedures. Train new employees on safety, room directions/specifications, stocking carts, and ergonomics. Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Enforces policies and procedures. Direct and be in charge of department when housekeeping managers are not present. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsValid US drivers license - required. 1-3 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred, guest service or hospitality a plus. Must be able to communicate in English, bilingual a plus. Ability to work a flexible schedule including split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours while consistently bending and lifting. Detail oriented, self-motivating and strong communicator, both written & verbal. Must be flexible, adaptable, versatile, and responsive to the needs of the housekeeping responsibilities. Ability to delegate tasks, maintain high cleanliness standards, and provide exception guest service without direct supervision.The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $26.53/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
