You’ll join the Project Management team to provide Plants and Facilities with capital project management support, leading large scale projects from development through installation and closing phases.
This is a 12 month extendible contract opportunity. The role is located in Muscatine, Iowa, and is on-site:
4 hrs Monday
8 hours Tuesday
8 hrs Wednesday
8 hrs Thursday
4 hrs Friday
Project Manager Responsibilities:
-Create supporting project documentation
-Present documentation to gain needed approvals
-Lead projects from development through installation and closing phases
-Hold periodic project meetings providing critical project updates
-Meet regularly with vendors to ensure successful project completion
-Support installation while projects are being completed
-Follow through with identifying all new equipment with asset tags
-Support the plant with needed equipment support:
-Assist where needed with troubleshooting assistance or diagnosing equipment failures
-Provide assistance with finding or providing equipment details or drawings
-Provide plant layouts when needed
Project Manager Requirements:
-10 plus years of experience in the project management field
-Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
-Must have experience with the food processing equipment
-Experience with facilities related projects is a plus
-Must be able to produce quality results in a fast pace atmosphere
- Proficient with:
o MS Office
o AutoCAD
o MS Project
o MS Teams
o SAP
