This is a dual-role opportunity for a hands-on machinist who also brings leadership skills to guide a team on the shop floor. If you take pride in high-quality machining, enjoy solving complex challenges, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment this role is for you.Key Responsibilities: CNC Machining: Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills and lathes to machine precision parts. Must have experience with conversational programming and running Hurco machines. Advanced Setup: Capable of operating 4- or 5-axis machines and using MasterCAM to support part programming and setup. Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine machining sequences and tolerances. Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure products meet strict quality standards and tolerances. Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance, identify mechanical issues, and ensure machines run at optimal efficiency. Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and increase productivity. Working Lead Responsibilities: Act as a bridge between the production floor and management, support scheduling, prioritize tasks, and provide mentorship to junior machinists. Team Leadership: Motivate and guide a small team to meet daily production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and process standards.Package Details
