Retail Sales AssociateThe Retail Sales Associate assists Ollie's customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. Retail Sales Associates are responsible for all aspects of customer service, running registers, merchandising, and store maintenance.Primary responsibilities include:Greeting and acknowledging every customer with Ollie's "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" approach to build long term customer loyalty.Managing cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.Being an expert in Ollie's store and inventory, knowing our weekly deals and the incredible value we provide our customers.Assisting with freight logistics and learning how great retailers merchandise their products.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Happy to train new Associates who may not have 6 months of prior retail experience.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.A positive attitude and team player who wants to delight and serve customers.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.This pay represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Actual associate pay will be based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Associate gwill not be compensated below the minimum wage for the specific location where the individual has applied in accordance with city, county, and state requirements.New Hire Starting Pay: $15.74Ollie's is an equal opportunity employer.
