Ideal candidate is a "full-stack" developer with a focus on client-side game development in JavaScript.


Minimum 2 years of professional game development experience.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and optimize javascript action code for agents to interact with Minecraft using the Mineflayer API
  • Integrate agents in to Mods for a variety of games
  • Develop SDK's to support inclusion of agent in to Unity and / or Unreal projects
  • Work with AI and back-end developers to create tools to support agent analysis and creation
  • Support development of the Altera app that links agents to games and mods\
  • Having fun playing with our agents


Job is in-person in Menlo Park, CA.


Must-haves:

  • Front End / Client Side Javascript Game Development
  • Unity or Unreal Experience
  • Experienced in version control and code reviews, familiar with automatic integration, deployment development environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for creative and innovative thinking.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.


Bonuses:

  • Traditional game AI development (state machines, hierarchical goal networks, etc...)
  • React development (web and/or native)
  • Minecraft Modding, particularly with the Mineflayer API
  • Other Game Modding, particularly survival crafting games such as Valheim or Conan Exiles
