Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant - Orthopaedic Surgery at Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates in Salisbury, MD. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for assisting in orthopaedic surgeries, conducting patient examinations, diagnosing injuries and conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing post-operative care. The role will also involve collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, maintaining patient records, and ensuring high-quality patient care.


Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge in orthopaedic surgery
  • Ability to assist in surgeries and perform surgical procedures
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Compassion and empathy for patients
  • Active licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant (or graduating in 2024)
