Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Ultrasonographer to join our cardiac team. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment. Your expertise will help provide accurate and detailed images that aid in the diagnosis cardiac and treatment of various cardiac conditions. Experience with stress Echo is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations on patients as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and answer any questions
  • Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to ensure high-quality images
  • Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
  • Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures Skills
  • Proficient in medical terminology related to cardiac ultrasound procedures
  • Strong knowledge of sonography techniques and equipment operation
  • Understanding of human cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Ability to accurately assess vital signs and recognize abnormalities
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography or related field
  • Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. Valid state license or certification as required by the state regulatory board
