* $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for CMA/LPN/RNs*

Full-time: 0.9FTE, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with one day off each week OR 4 days/week 9 hours/day

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of primary health care services and patient care management.
  • Demonstrates competence in the skills necessary to carry out assigned duties.
  • Administer medications by all routes.
  • Apply Nursing Process (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Intervention and Evaluation - within licensure guidelines)
  • Act as a liaison with patients, family and providers consistently demonstrating smooth and efficient telephone communication when covering provider call and scheduling patient appointments.
  • Obtain complete history regarding health problems according to protocols.
  • Document accurate information regarding health concerns and/or condition from patient or family member.
  • Telephone Triage by providing and documenting advice for home care of illness/condition; conducting follow-up phone calls regarding patient‘s health and progress as necessary.
  • Ability to assess urgency of condition for immediate attention regarding illness related calls and assign priority.
  • Provide patient education regarding health maintenance and medical illnesses following accepted Teach-back method per protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide appropriate and timely documentation in the patient‘s electronic health record using standardized workflows and processes.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
  • Current CME certification for Certified Medical Assistant and AAMA or NCCT certification.
  • Mandatory Reporter certification
  • Meets educational/competency requirements per policy.
  • Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Computer data entry experience.
  • Mandatory Reporter certification.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Able to write, read, comprehend and speak fluent English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred
