All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Full TimeShift: Night 6p-6a 3x12hour shifts rotating weekendsLocation: 1035 Red Bud Road, Northeast Calhoun, GA 30701The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Gordon + Four seasons of outdoor activities, including whitewater, hiking, camping + Named #4 on NICHE magazines Best Cities (under 100,000) to Raise a Family + Affordable land and homes + Outstanding quality of life + Strong cultural community + Access to excellent public and private K-12 education + Convenient location between two large metropolitan areas: Atlanta and ChattanoogaThe role you'll contribute: Responsible for assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living under the supervision of a professional nurse. This position provides care to age-specific groups as identified in the position responsibilities. This role adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting bodies. In addition, this position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with patients, families, and team members.The value you'll bring to the team: Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture. Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies. Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives. Follows prescribed isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of protective equipment, performs handwashing according to policy, and enforces safety regulations. Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrades skills continuously.Qualifications: The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: High School Grad or Equivalent [Required] Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Required] OR Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) [Required] OR Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) [Required] This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
