Job Description:

• Facilitate a professional design experience for homeowners, guiding them through the selection of available options, discussing finishes, and exploring upgrades to fulfill their vision for their dream home.

• Provide comprehensive product information to buyers, including details on upgrade options and pricing information tailored to their budget.

• Ensure timely and accurate handling of all revisions related to color selections and addendum options, adhering to predetermined deadlines.

• Prepare pricing calculations and necessary paperwork for buyers' review and approval, maintaining transparency and clarity throughout the process.

• Conduct material takeoffs and create plan-specific pricing templates in selections software to accurately estimate costs and streamline the selection process.

• Act as a liaison between construction, subcontractors, sales, and field teams, managing option selections and facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

• Address inquiries and concerns from the field, customer care, trade partners, and contractors regarding addendums and color selections, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all paperwork and diagrams for homebuyers, construction teams, and trade partners, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

• Input product item numbers into design specification sheets on the computer, verifying accuracy to streamline the design process.

• Promptly communicate any delays or issues to the Design Center Manager and relevant team members to facilitate timely resolution and maintain project momentum.

• Attend pre-construction meetings and site-visits as needed to stay informed and actively contribute to project success.

• Efficiently manage the change order process, preparing accurate schematic drawings for concrete, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and flooring changes for the Construction Department.

• Uphold an elevated standard of customer experience throughout the entire process, aligning with company objectives to exceed client expectations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the overall efficiency and success of the design studio operations.

Requirements:

•Minimum of 2 years' experience in home building design, preferably with a high-end production builder or custom home builder.

•Bachelors or Associates Degree in Interior Design, accredited preferred.

•Proficiency in AutoCAD or drawing software (Revit and SketchUp preferred)

•Strong skills in drawing/sketching, customer service, finish specifications, space planning, and scheduling.
