Yard And Warehouse Laborer - Denver, ColoradoYard and warehouse hand will safely perform their duties in conjunction with the lead and corporate yard supervisor, to maximize the effectiveness of the Denver yard.Responsibilities:Pick material, equipment, and tools to satisfy the requirements of field requisitionsRecord information used to process transfersTelehandler experience is a plusSafely and effectively use tools and equipment to execute shipping and receiving responsibilitiesPerform daily activities of the yard in accordance with PCL procedures, policies, and guidelinesProvide consistent customer service across all activitiesPrioritize, assign, and monitor tasks of yard employeesCoordinate all yard material handling and shipping/receiving activitiesOversee preparation and circulation of shipping paperwork and documentationAssist in preparation of orders to fill requisitionsEnsure equipment and materials are stored safely in accordance with organizational planEnsure equipment and materials are in safe working orderMonitor stocking levels of stores inventory and toolsTrain and monitor employees to execute work in compliance with PCL company policy, procedures and guidelinesEnsure all daily activities are performed in accordance with PCL HSE manual and Denver yard HSE planProvide safety and performance feedback on yard employees to yard supervisorPerform other duties as requested by the yard supervisor and leadQualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderKnowledge and use of hand and power toolsHigh regard for safety and pride for quality of workSelf-motivated and a team playerAble to multi-task, show initiative and ask questions as neededAble to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasksHave a high degree of flexibility in a changing environmentMust have reliable transportationStrength to perform average lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasionally to 50 pounds, from the ground to waist levelShould be able to navigate through the worksite on a daily basisOccasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairsMust be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressureMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screeningCompany: PCL Construction Services Inc.
