Summary:

Our client is a premier tier 1 supplier who is looking to add an experienced and professional Production Supervisor/Machine ShopManager to their team. In this position, the Production Supervisor will oversee the planning, scheduling, setup, and running of production activities ensuring effective work performance is met.

The Production Supervisor must have 2 years supervisory experience in production and Machine shop experience.

Production Supervisor Requirements:

  • 2-year degree in related field preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience with CNC machines, programming, and set-up required
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in production type role required
  • Self-motivated with the ability to drive others to success
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus

Production Supervisor Description:

  • machine operators, set-up technicians, and material handlers by assisting in the selection, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action of the associates
  • job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures
  • production processes by observing process volumes, recommending process adjustments
  • production processes by monitoring progress; expediting material flow and work results; resolving problems
  • process workflow by eliminating stoppages; analyzing delays; testing new methods
  • production by completing daily shift production reports; calculating yields and recoveries
  • process flow by communicating production status, requirements, and problems to next shift

  • to work various hours to cover multiple shifts as needed
