The Lead Healthcare Staffing Coordinator (LHSC) oversees the entire recruitment process for the FPMS team, ensuring that only quality staff are being hired and/or presented to clients for open per diem and contract placements. The (LHSC) will be the main point of contact for all active FPMS staff and will work one on one with all Healthcare Recruiters to source, screen and qualify all candidates to fill contract and or per diem job orders.


Responsibilities

  • As the lead, mentor the healthcare recruiters on the recruitment and scheduling process and act as a resource to answer questions and guide staff.
  • Develop and coordinate recruitment and scheduling strategies with the Healthcare Recruiters to ensure that as a team, everyone is utilizing all our resources such as referrals, social media, job boards and incentives to fill open per diem or contract job orders.
  • Monitor candidate applications for completion. Set expectations and deadlines holding candidates accountable.
  • Ensure all steps have been completed before the applicant is scheduled for orientation with the Office Manager.
  • Update and enter all information in the CRM data base.
  • Oversee and coordinate entry of all per diem and contract job orders in Healthsource. Ensure job orders are sent out to available staff via email, text or phone call, for immediate placement.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidate for current and future placements.
  • Work with team to schedule virtual job fairs and open house events, as needed.
  • Resolve staff or client problems or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Contact all assigned clients weekly regarding current and upcoming staffing needs, delegate order entry, staff credentialing and other duties as necessary.
  • Send all required paperwork to each client and upload credentials to client portal as needed.
  • Ensure all credentials are updated and non-expired for each staff member working on an assignment.
  • Work on the temp availability report weekly by contacting all assigned active staff to determine availability, schedule shifts, confirm schedules via text, phone or email. Monitor staff are working at least 4 shifts per month.
  • Coach and support team members to ensure they meet their individual and team goals and grow professionally.
  • Interact with clients and staff (external and internal) to build relationships while ensuring staffing needs are met.
  • Implement and uphold all company policy and procedures.
  • Monitor set KPI progress weekly to ensure individual goals are met.
  • Manage relationships with clients to expand opportunities.
  • Participate in the paid on call program.
  • Assist Director with specific assigned tasks.


Qualifications

  • One to two years experience in Healthcare staffing, HR or Talent Acquisition/Recruitment.
  • An Associate Degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months experience in the staffing industry, a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of effective recruitment tools and strategies to attract, hire and retain staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be self-driven and self motivated.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of MS office 365 (including Outlook, Word and Excel).
