Medical Care SupervisorThe responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:Supervising the medical care of all patients from registration to departureSupervising clinical personnel on their patient contact, care, and performanceScheduling staff nurses and medical assistantsReviewing and supervising the inventory of medicines, prescriptions, and suppliesActing as patient first representative for the director of medical support and the medical director in his or her absence to ensure smooth operation of the centerFunctioning as an administrator and working as a staff nurse as neededReviewing all checklists of staff nurses and medical assistantsPreparing written and verbal evaluations for staff nurses and medical assistants at appropriate scheduled time, or when necessaryProviding positive, warm and friendly customer service in all interactionsFostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphereCompleting other duties as directedMinimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:Employee must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school graduate or equivalentKeyboarding experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOne year of clerical experience preferredOne year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferredOne year of supervisory experience preferredLicensed to practice as a nurse in the state of MarylandSalary range: $41.00 - $46.00, depending on experience.Benefits and other compensation:Health, dental and vision insurance for employees and dependentsDisability, life and long term care insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accounts401(k) retirement plan (with employer match)Paid annual leave, volunteer time off pay, bereavement leave, emergency leave bankOvertime pay, holiday pay, double time compensation for all holidays workedDiscounted medical treatment at any Patient First location for employees and immediate familyBonuses include: recruitment bonus, patient care performance bonus (center employees only), weekend bonus (center employees only)
