Role Summary:


Join our dynamic team in Omaha as a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Service Technician, where your expertise will drive innovation and efficiency in automation solutions across various industries. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest level of service and maintenance for sophisticated control systems used in commercial and industrial settings.


Key Responsibilities:


* System Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot PLC systems and associated components to detect and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

* Programming and Configuration: Develop and modify PLC programs to enhance system performance. Implement new configurations and setups as part of system upgrades and installations.

* Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency of PLC systems.

* Technical Support and Consultation: Provide expert advice and technical support to clients, enhancing their understanding of system operations and promoting optimal use of automation technology.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system layouts, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting guides to support system integrity and knowledge sharing.

* Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all industry standards and safety regulations during installation, servicing, and repair of PLC systems.



Qualifications:


* Education: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field; or equivalent vocational training.

* Certifications: Certified PLC Technician credentials preferred.

* Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

* Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PLC hardware and software, especially popular brands like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Mitsubishi.

* Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex systems in a clear and understandable manner.
