With a global manufacturing footprint spanning three continents, GlobalFoundries makes possible the technologies and systems that transform industries and give customers the power to shape their markets.Summary of RoleAs Director of Sales, you will be a leader within the Customer Partnership and Business Development team to coach, support, and drive high performing culture to enable sales team to identify and win new businesses with assigned clients. Collaborate and deploy strategies with End Market and Product Line to win new client opportunities.Essential Responsibilities:Lead a team of account managers to drive Design Wins, Revenue, develop, communicate overall penetration and growth strategy for the territory account baseEstablish resource plan to support deep accounts engagementWork closely with Technical Sales team to understand client roadmaps, and to identify and secure engagement opportunitiesLeverage End Markets and Product Lines to drive solution win across markets and technologies (Power/RF/SiPh/CMOS)Understanding and supporting GF to climb the value chain at our customersGuide sales team to develop business proposals in response to RFI/RFQs, and drive necessary internal alignment and approvals from key stakeholdersNegotiate business agreements at the executive levelParticipate in operations, engineering and business review meetingsDevelop a C-level of customer intimacy with client's sourcing and business unitsResponsible for assessing territory account base opportunities, resources, and capabilities needed to meet or exceed Sales plan including detailed and accurate sales forecastingHands-on management of assigned accountsManaged and meet sales KPI design win, tapeout revenue, and sales revenuePerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programsOther Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required QualificationsEducation Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Related Discipline15+ years of Sales, Marketing, Business Development and or Sales Role in SemiconductorExperience in managing high performance sales team and winning across semiconductor solution value chainTravel Requirements: 10% (+ or -)Language Fluency: English (Written & Verbal)Preferred QualificationsMBA PreferredFoundry or ASIC Sales and/or Marketing BackgroundDirect Sales experience with Datacenter and IoT based accountsExpected Salary Range$160,400.00 - $257,200.00. The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
