Staff Accountant OpportunityRobert Half is working with a client in need of a staff accountant. The ideal candidate will have expertise in bank reconciliations. They would also possess a high level of accounting knowledge and ERP systems. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits, supporting month-end and year-end close, preparing financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations, reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts, and researching and correcting account discrepancies.Requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills is highly desirable. 13 years of experience in accounting or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles is required. Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are necessary. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, are also required. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly and professionally is essential.
