As a technical PM, you will be at the forefront of market exploration, customer engagement, and product definition — ensuring Efficient’s technology delivers maximum impact for the most demanding computing workloads.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Exploration & Product StrategyConduct continuous market research and competitive analysis across high-performance computing modalities (MCUs, FPGAs, DPUs, CPUs, and ASICs)Attend trade shows and industry events to gain insights into emerging trends and build relationships with potential customersDefine and refine the product vision for high-performance computing solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs and company strategyCustomer Engagement & Sales EnablementIdentify and build strong relationships with customers and partners across the industrial edge, automotive, and data center computing ecosystemEngage with highly technical stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirementsServe as a technical subject matter expert in customer and sales meetings, articulating the unique value proposition of Efficient’s architectureTechnical Execution & Product DevelopmentWork closely with internal teams—including architecture, hardware, and software—to guide product definition and roadmap executionOwn specifications for hardware developer kits, boards, and chip capabilitiesTake ownership of cross-team product planning and ensure seamless coordination between engineering, marketing, and business teamsConstantly question and refine the “why” behind product decisions, ensuring focus on high-impact initiativesScaling the Product LineTake full ownership of the high-performance product line’s success, with the intention of growing into a Product Line Manager or General Manager roleDefine and execute the long-term strategy for future generations of our performance product line of chipsDevelop business cases for new product initiatives and communicate them effectively across the companyRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field5+ years of experience in software or hardware product management, technical architecture, or a business-facing technical roleStrong knowledge of data center computing architectures, including FPGAs, DPUs, CPUs, and ASICsDeep technical understanding of hardware design tradeoffs, compute efficiency, and system-level integrationAbility to work autonomously and drive initiatives with minimal oversight in fast-moving, ambiguous environmentsExceptional communication skills—succinct, direct, and highly effective at engaging both technical and business audiencesProven track record of customer engagement, from technical sales meetings to user research and feedback integrationStrong strategic thinking and ability to drive high-level product decisionsWillingness to travel for trade shows and customer meetingsDesired QualificationsPrevious experience leading product development for data center chips, DPUs, FPGAs, or AI acceleratorsExperience working with cloud providers, hyperscalers, or enterprise hardware vendorsPrior ownership of an end-to-end product lifecycle, from market analysis to customer adoptionExperience with business case development and ability to influence executive decision-makingWe offer a competitive salary for this role, generally ranging from $150,000 to $180,000, along with meaningful equity and comprehensive benefits. The final compensation package will be based on your experience and location, with some flexibility to ensure we align with the right candidate.
