Payroll Analyst

Role Description: We are seeking a Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations during a period of transition and transformation. As the business transitions to a new managed service provider, you will play a critical role in ensuring continuity and accuracy. The role will focus on payroll data preparation, validation, vendor oversight, and governance. Working closely with HR, Finance, and the payroll provider, the Payroll Analyst will be key to supporting a seamless transition while upholding a high standard of payroll delivery. Key Responsibilities: Support the set-up, transition, and successful handover of payroll operations to the new managed service provider Support testing, parallel runs, and data validation during provider implementation Prepare, review, and submit payroll inputs to the managed service provider Monitor vendor performance against service-level agreements and escalate issues as required Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll outputs align with business and compliance requirements Document payroll processes and support knowledge transfer to enable sustainable service delivery Contribute to process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience Support the Senior Payroll Manager on payroll projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives Requirements: 3-5 years of US payroll processing experience (multi-state preferred) Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax regulations Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced payroll environment Experience working with third-party providers is an advantage Proficiency with payroll/HRIS systems Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication skills, with the ability to partner across HR, Finance, and external vendors Experience supporting payroll transitions, implementations, or vendor onboarding preferred Ardagh Metal Packaging is a leading global supplier of sustainable, infinitely recyclable metal beverage cans to brand owners. This role is bonus eligible. The bonus incentive program is based on company meeting or exceeding targets. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
