Position Summary/Essential Functions: The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be responsible for learning and supporting ME activities related to dispositioning material discrepancy reports, work instruction updates, procedure/drawing updates, tooling/fixture design and organization (physical and database), data collection and analysis, and other Engineering activities that support Operations. Responsibilities: • Disposition parts written up on material discrepancy reports. Creates reports identifying MRB trends and opportunities for process improvements. • Identifies and updates drawings / procedures / work instructions to clarify and standardize manufacturing processes. • Works with production cells and Engineering to assess needs for safety, 5S, and process improvements related to process development and tooling. • Collect and analyze data to aid in focused problem solving. • Provides support to Engineering team to resolve TIB issues and anything impacting daily engineering needs. Qualifications: • GED or HS diploma • 2+ years of related experience. • Blueprint reading and Component Maintenance Manual familiarization. • Demonstrated active participation in team meetings, project teams, improvement efforts. • Broad process experience including inspection, machining, flow test desired. • Use of hand inspection tools. • Use of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Level 1 Inspector / Repairman preferred. • Interest in learning and growing completing technical degree and growing into an Engineer role.
