Senior Director, Cybersecurity

Piper Companies is seeking a strategic, experienced Senior Director, Cybersecurity to oversee the operational, governance, and executive communication functions of a global cybersecurity organization. This role is ideal for a senior professional who thrives at the intersection of cybersecurity strategy, business operations, and executive alignment. This is a hybrid role (preference or 2 days onsite in Conshohocken, PA or DFW, TX). Responsibilities The Senior Director will act as a trusted advisor to cybersecurity leadership, driving governance processes, developing executive and Board reporting, managing cybersecurity metrics and KPIs, and coordinating a global network of cybersecurity champions across the enterprise. Lead cross-functional cybersecurity operations and governance initiatives across multiple regions and business units. Develop and manage executive and Board reporting, transforming complex technical information into clear, business-ready insights. Define and maintain cybersecurity metrics and KPIs that measure risk posture and program maturity. Oversee a cybersecurity champions network to strengthen awareness and accountability globally. Partner with senior leadership to align cybersecurity priorities with organizational goals and transformation initiatives. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity strategy, operations, or governance, including leadership roles in enterprise healthcare or pharmaceutical environments. Proven experience in global organizations, ideally managing regulatory and compliance considerations across regions. Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and risk management principles. Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to influence the executive and Board level. Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, business, or related field (advanced degree or CISSP/CISM/CISA preferred). Compensation: Annual Salary: $225,000 - $250,000 base salary + bonus and equity Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Sick Leave if required by law This job opens for applications on 11/3/25.
