Position Overview: As an in-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a vital role in delivering speech and language therapy services to students, assisting them in developing crucial communication skills and overcoming challenges. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills. Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs. Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and more. Collaborate with faculty, parents, and educators to support students’ communication goals. Utilize evidence-based techniques during therapy sessions. Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed. Document sessions and report progress accurately. Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights on speech and language needs. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP. Experience in providing speech-language therapy in educational or pediatric settings. Proficient in assessment tools and techniques for pediatric speech-language pathology. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail. Familiarity with AAC systems and assistive technology is a plus.
