Along with the marketing, sales, and communications staff, this individual will assist in increasing attendance, creating a positive and exciting game day atmosphere, increasing fan engagement, and furthering the brand of Rice Athletics.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degreeOne year of related experienceAdditional education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basisPreferences:Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AdobeMaster's degree in a related fieldEssential Functions:Develops the communication and brand strategy for individual program(s)Writes, designs, and coordinates the production of communication and marketing materialsRecommends integrated marketing plans/programs and strategies to meet business objectivesGuides event planning and execution as needed to support marketing objectivesAssists in vendor management on specific projectsConducts market research and analysis used to inform decisions regarding strategic marketing direction, product segmentation, and customer targetingAssesses market opportunities and tracks market trendsRecommends marketing improvements based on findingsPerforms all other duties as assignedRice University is committed to ensuring Equal Employment Opportunity and welcoming the fullness of diversity into our candidate pools.
