And we do it all with heart, each and every day.The Contract Consulting Unit (CCU) serves as the primary resource for supporting the company's medical provider contracting activities. Our main internal customers are Network Management staff members responsible for establishing contracts with medical providers. The CCU Network Operations Consultant plays a key role in:- Providing contract development guidance, reviews, implementation, and ongoing maintenance support.- Assisting with the selection of appropriate contract documents and compensation schedules housed in SCM.- Reviewing contract language using company resources such as documented contract guidelines, compensation schedule performance tools, and reimbursement policies.- Connecting with cross-functional department SMEs and leveraging web links and subject matter experts.- Performing contract reviews for compliance with contracting requirements, policies, and approvals.- Routing and tracking contract activities to ensure timely implementation into provider databases and payment systems.- Assisting with claim inquiries by interpreting contract intent and validating contract corrections.- Supporting the development of regional policies, job aids, and workflows.- Participating in special projects and workgroups.Required Qualifications:- General knowledge of provider compensation methods, coding, and billing (e.g., per diems, case rates, stop loss, revenue codes, DRGs, CPT-4).- Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.- Strong communication, customer service, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience and knowledge of Strategic Contract Manager (SCM).- Familiarity with Adobe software.Education:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40Time Type: Full timePay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $122,400.00Our people fuel our future.
