JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant. Location: Wallingford, PA 19086. Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs). Pay Rate: $38 on W2. Guarantee Hours: 40. Note: We have other locations/shifts and per diem jobs available in PA. Responsibilities: Assist Physical Therapists in executing treatment plans for patients to improve mobility and manage pain. Massage and stretch muscles where necessary. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and use of assistive devices as directed by the Physical Therapist. Observe and document patient responses to treatments, ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols. Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and adapt plans as needed. Brief patients and their families on after-therapy care. Skills/Experience Needed: Requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant or greater. Education: Certification from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in PA. High school diploma or equivalent. Certifications: Associate degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in PA. BLS certification from AHA (preferred). Must have completed the full vaccination regimen against COVID-19.
